Shawn EnglishShawn English is a middle school ELA teacher in Mulberry, AR. He began teaching 5th and 6th grade during the 14/15 school year. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. In December of 2013, he graduated from Arkansas Tech University with his M.Ed. He has been married for 10 years, and has three boys. In his spare time, he enjoys writing either on his personal blog, or creative writing. He hopes to inspire a love of reading and writing in all of his classes.

Jill Tanner has been teaching in both public and private schools for 20 years. She has been a licensed educator in Arkansas and Alaska. She is currently teaching 6th grade Math and Social Studies. Jill serves as the Math Department chair and sponsors Student Council for Middle School. She has had the opportunity to serve the schools she teaches in as PCP chair, School Leadership Team, Lead Middle School Teacher, teacher liaison for the PTO, and Mentor to new teachers. While in Alaska, she restructured the existing the middle school by aligning the curriculum to Common Core and revising existing courses to be more competitive in all subjects. She has been Teacher of the Year of Little Rock Catholic Schools, BP teacher nominee in Alaska and won Teacher of the Month in her current school. Jill has passion for educating kids and believes every student’s education matters.

Suzanne RogersI am proven to go the extra mile while striving for academic excellence while teaching, volunteering, and substituting in private, public, and charter schools in HI, IL, NC, and Arkansas for almost 30 years. I have worn many hats in education including; first-grade teacher, track and field coach, ELA teacher, department chair, grade-level leader, Assistant Principal-Discipline, Assistant Principal-Academics, Director of Curriculum and Professional Development, and most currently ELA Instructional Facilitator, professional development coordinator, and AP English teacher. Jessica WrightJessica Wright is an educator in her 6th year of teaching. In addition to teaching Middle School ELA, she has served as grade level chair, department chair, and is currently in the role of instructional facilitator. She has had the amazing opportunity to work with many teacher leader organizations outside her school district including LearnZillion, Student Achievement Partners, ECET2, and had the pleasure of planning and hosting a regional ECET2 event in Arkansas. Her passions range including whole student, focus on education over test prep, and teacher development and leadership.
